Kiesewetter vs Giorgiades

The claimant was severely bitten by 2 Rottweiler’s that had escaped from the open gate of a suburban home. Even though the dogs were not owned by the Defendants, they were still held liable on the basis that they owned the house in which the tenant’s dogs were housed, and should have put adequate measures in place to ensure that the gates were kept closed at all times.
